This album, its title song at least, was conceived during COVID lockdown in New Zealand. At the time Kingsland, where I live, like everywhere else, fell quiet. Many thanks to Louis Bernstone for his contributions to making this album. Also thanks to Dave Powell for adding saxophone on Songbird, Stepping on my Shadow, and Enemy Lines and my son Joe for backing vocals on Rain Song, Kingsland Hill, and Stepping on my Shadow.
